Weekend at the Poconos

July 24th, 2007 | Category: Photos,Travel

On July 20-23, we went on our first trip after our honeymoon to the Poconos. Ashley’s parents own a house there in the community of Saw Creek. One of the activities which we did while there was to take a trip out to Bushkill Falls. We took a trail through the woods and saw many of the beautiful waterfalls located here. A highlight of the trip was when Ashley decided to go off the trail and walk down a very slippery and narrow cliff. This was somewhat dangerous but she did not let fear stop her. As we both went to the edge of the cliff we had a better top view of one of these waterfalls. The trail was said to be 2 hours and 30 minutes but we completed it in 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was also the longest trail in Bushkill Falls. Another note of our trip was right before we left to go back to NY, a deer was taking a nap right in front of our car. I had to be careful just in case it was an ambush and his boys were waiting around the corner for me. I managed to take a few photos of the deer and one of his friends that was around the corner right before they ran off. Overall, we had a great time and it was good to take a break from day to day New York City life. Click on the photo below to view some of our photos.

“Thank You, Come Again”

July 16th, 2007 | Category: Photos

The Simpson’s is the longest running cartoon series ever. All of us have our favorite episodes or Simpson’s moments. Years later they decide to make a Simpson Movie and Seven Eleven has done one really cool promotion for it. After hearing that several Seven Eleven’s in the country have been turned into Quick E Mart’s, I had to grab my camera and go check this out for myself. If you have a few minutes to kill, go over to 42nd St and 8th Ave to see this really cool promotion. In the mean time, check out the photos for yourself.

Honeymoon in Paris

July 08th, 2007 | Category: Photos,Travel

I know it has been more than a month since we have come back from our honeymoon and it has taken a long time for us to post our photos. However, we had some trouble locating the cable to upload our photos to our pc. Ooops:) With that said, Paris was great. We had such a good time and were amazed by the amount of architectural detail throughout the city. This was Ashley’s second time there and my first. We stayed at the hotel Du Louvre which is located right next to the famous museum Du Louvre. Several places which we visited where Du Louvre museum, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Arch De Triumph, Versailles and many other local spots. One of the higlights of our trip was having dinner high up in the Eiffel Tower. The food was great and the view was fantastic. Paris is a very beautiful city which you will see by looking at our photos. Feel free to let us know what you think by leaving us some comments. Enjoy.
